Im a month behind with my mortgage so Ive stopped going out so much and wait a little longer before replacing my clothes. I drive slower to save fuel and turn the heating down a little until I can find a job. Every little helps.

@Flettie I am a Lancashire lass, my clothes are all secondhand, I live very cheaply, I cook from scratch, I never eat out, Never get my hair cut, I grow lots, even make my own wine. Life just keeps happening and at the mo, the bed has broken, I need to repair my car and sell it, my own house is sitting empty (court's requirement) and I have to pay for this one. I was just thinking a small windfall would change my life. However, I won't moan. Onwards..

@Petter Kinda. But you don't have to climb them to get high. And no golden eggs at the top but a few quid from putting smiles on friend faces and a case of the munchies.

@Amisja I spent £5k just on travel last year, visiting, collecting and dropping off my young son, I get less than £7k a year ESA. Long live the magic money tree.
