@Charlene Yeah. After the U.S. invaded iraq, all their oil production ended up in the hands of American and Brisih oil companies. I am sure they wnt to control Venezuelan oil production as well.

@snytiger6 actually all the oil in Iraq ended up in China's hands..they Paid for that war.

@Charlene OK. The oil may hve been sold to China, but the production facilities are controled by the U.S. and British oil companies

@snytiger6 sorry they're ownwd by China..they agreed to rebuild the entire oil refining industry that We destroyed..China gets it all..google it!

The conservatives who have power are against social programs, and trying very hard to eliminate all of them. They are already killing people with their repeal of Obamacare, they intend to kill many more. I think they are ignorant of the suffering they cause, because all they see is $$$ they can grab instead of giving it to poor people.

They're Fully aware of it..and turn their Kkkristian hearts and eyes from it..

@Charlene I took a look, and evidently oil contracts had been renegotiated and and bid out since I last checked. I only skimmed articles but I see enough to know that things have changed a great deal since I last read about the oil agreements there. At the time all oil production was controlled by U.S. and British oil companies. Evidently BP still controls some of the oil there. I did not recognize any other comp[any names, which I assume from what you said that they are most likely Chinese based companies.

So, th eU.S. spent over 6 trillion dollars on wars and the Chinese got most of the oil.. in the end. And, most of hte debt from the war is also held by China. Might be time to start looking for somewhere else to live.

@snytiger6 Iceland is atheist friendly; 0% of the population under 25 years old do not believe god created the world. However, I understand their language is difficult to learn. Climate change will make their climate warmer.
