saw some study here today i think. compared the cost if coal to wind and solar. didn't have the energy to check the source and admit i didn't read it. compared costs favorably via gist. maybe wasn't "clean" ? coal? blue in the face? maybe money. cheapen it up more. think they touted growth as well. greed em into it.

Some years ago there was a company that had to build a renewable power plant next to the coal fired one they were going to build anyway. Half way through the building of the coal plant they quit as the cost was going to be higher than for the renewable.

@dalefvictor that could have been a crappy construction venture?... how come orange doesn't talk about that?
