excited, i built a fire in my back yard! There was something so relaxing about it, like I was out camping. I bought a metal fire ring ffrom walmart so i put it on the far end of the yard, away from the house and patio, so it was kind of like a new space to be and everything was quiet in my neighborhood, the smoke wasnt interfering with anything. i have to burn some dry sticks because putting them in the dumpster is a waste and there is so much of it it would take bags and bags. I also have alot of rose bush clippings that are impossible to deal with, best thing to burn. anyway ive owned this house 13 years and always wanted a firepit and I finally did it!!

Looked at one a day ago.. Had one of rocks I’d hauled up a hillside next to my pond. Had many a small gathering up there … everyone’s mesmerized by such a fire, it’s primal. I’m surprised more people don’t have ‘fire rings,’ though, that may cut down on ..fires.

Sounds great. Good for you. Perfect time of year to relax around a fire pit. They say you think of lost loves when you stare at the flames.
