Took some photos of the Falcon Heavy launch today in Central Florida. My Nikon with telephoto lens did well considering the distance and speed-SEVEN MILES PER SECOND that rocket was going. I then decided to do a random check of the distance to Mars—The minimum distance from the Earth to Mars is about 33.9 million miles! That is the distance to a planet close to us! Staggering to think about the vastness of the universe and the limitations of humans to explore it.
