Borrowed:

"Someone explain why from the Democrat party we have University Professors in Constitutional law, Rhodes scholars and people with experience in government and all they can come up with in the Republican Party is a less than average student with no government experience, no diplomatic skills whose main accomplishments were as a slum lord, a con man, a reality TV host and his appearance on the Howard Stern Radio show talking about what a whoring scumbag he was."

Continued: Therepublicans haven’t put up a president who could complete a coherent sentence since Nixon. Every man (and supporting woman) since has been exponentially stupider.

Because the GOP is the Party of Philistines.

Even under Bush II, there were good appointments to cabinet and lower positions. A couple could be consider very good. But, with the Tea Party Republicans in ascendency, ideology and religion became more important as a test of qualification. That ruled out a good many very qualified individuals during the second Bush II term and, subsequently, under Trump. Once Trump took office, all that mattered was meeting Trump’s world view. And, if you got in but didn’t tie Trump’s line, you were gone.

@Renickulous I can’t disagree with what Bush II did. But, he did nominate good people. Trump has not done that. Compared to Trump, Bush did very little to actually hurt the US.

You asked what Trump has done. While Trump has not yet done anything as serious as starting a war, Trump has done so much more to actually damage the US. The things that Trump has done include: glorifying dictators; breaking treaties; threatening nuclear war; threatening conventional war; insulting all of our allies; creating an immigration crisis; increasing the partisanship of the federal court system; flaunting his disrespect for Congress, the Constitution and laws of this country; lining his pockets by misusing his office; damaging the US reputation worldwide; disrupting the federal government’s ability to function with his personnel policies, appointments and infilled positions; increasing the budget deficit and the trade deficit; putting the country at risk of a recession with his trade policies and threats to close the border; ignoring the risk of climate change and doubled down on policies that would increase the risks; increasing the risks of pollution with policy decisions; breaking family units of immigrants out of spite; stoking the nationalist and right-wing extremist movements; acting and speaking in ways that foster increased in racism and violence; ignoring threats to US election integrity while creating non-existent threats of illegal voting issues; ignoring security concerns to the effect of actually putting the security of the US at risk; and, lying almost incessantly about everything to the point of diminishing the office of the President and making the US a laughing stock. Is that enough?

@Renickulous I could document every one of those items but won’t bother because I simply do not have the time to waste. All you need to do is read several different newspapers. Or you could google. That would document everyone of them.

I will address the two you pointed out:

Security concerns: A) ignoring security concerns about 25 individuals and granting them clearance over objections. B) constantly using an unsecured iPhone. C) failing establish a federal wide effort to secure our elections. D) providing classified information to the Russian ambassador and putting sources at risk of retaliation. E) Taking money from DoD to build a wall that is unneeded and his using the military to guard the border have wreaked training and preparedness. F) Meeting with Putin multiple times yet refusing to discuss the meetings with anyone in government.

Racism: I did not say he was racist. But he probably is. You appear to disagree. A) his comments after Charlottesville, calling right-wing extremists “good people.” B) His consistent refusal to consider white, right wing extremist to be a terrorist threat despite FBI assertions and the obvious preponderance of terrorist violence in this country being from right-wing extremists. C) Trump reducing reducing federal programs aimed at countering right-wing extremism. D) His threats to NATO and our allies weaken our security posture with our allies. E) Trump’s constant denigrating comments about people of color are also indicative of racism.

Are those specific enough for you? If you want documentation, go read a legitimate newspaper.

@Renickulous you know, it’s interesting how easily and conveniently you ignore the first things I said after you commented about Bush’s false flag war, the patriot act and bailouts. I never said that anything I mentioned was as significant as a war.

Here is how I started my reply: “I can’t disagree with what Bush II did. But, he did nominate good people. Trump has not done that. Compared to Trump, Bush did very little to actually hurt the US.

You asked what Trump has done. While Trump has not yet done anything as serious as starting a war, Trump has done so much more to actually damage the US....”

All of the things I listed have done more damage to this country that Bush’s war. I never said they were worse than your points about Bush. Nor as significant. But, that war as bad as it is, as many as were killed because of it, did not do as much to damage this country as Trump has done, for the reasons I mentioned.

Now, if your opinion is different, so be it. Just don’t put words in to my mouth or give meaning to my words that aren’t supported by all of what I wrote. In this case, unlike what you said, I never said what Trump has done is worse than war. I never said or discussed Russian collusion. Only Russian interference which is proven. I never said using the military at the border was illegal. I said that that use is impacting military training and preparedness.

By the way, an unsecured iPhone, or any phone, can be used to listen to any conversation near that phone. If Russia or the Chinese are doing that to listen in, even if the phone is changed every 30 days, that is a breach of security that surpasses 25 wrong clearances.

Look, I’m done with you. You have a very bad habit of twisting what was said and making things up about what was said.

the Republicans have vilified education, especially those with advanced degrees. Look no further than trump for Republican proof that an ivy league education isn't all that. Very stable genius indeed...🤨

Trump's ivy education was Wharton at Penn, merely a business school;you understand business means maximizing profit at the expense of humans and the environment. Trump is an expert at that.

@Healthydoc70 which is why he has gone bankrupt so many times that no u.s. bank will touch him.

That's because our political system is broken both the Democrats and Republicans are not capable of working for the people anymore.
