Finally, I came across a survey of 2015 where Gallup polled which demographics Americans will not vote for the highest office. It has been 3 years since the poll and we now noticing changing attitudes towards at least Gay and Lesbian for president. Chicago elected Lori Lightfoot as the new Mayor this year which unthinkable 5 years ago. Barnney Frank of Massachusetts was getting elected term after term by the progressive state as the state's senator and he proved to be one of the most consequential senators of the time.
Let us hope that Pete Buttigieg will get a fair chance at being compared on virtues and abilities with all other candidates (without biases).

Here is another poll published in 2016 that shows that Americans are opening up to the idea of gay president. The numbers also show why Trump was elected such as extra marital relations is not a high priority issue for voters as it is made out to be by the media.
