Sitting here in what for me and my dogs is "after-dinner rest time", and I looked at my oldest dog, who is 14, and he was just lying there, head up, looking around, and it was like "I've had my dinner and went out to pee, and now I'm just being here." And I wished with all my heart that I could do the same thing. I even got a little teary-eyed.
