Surely that corrected word has an "ed" at the end! 😛🤣

@MissKathleen It should be "spelted". 🙂

@Sticks48 From where has that errant "t" emerged.
Spelt is a prehistoric variety of wheat, far tastier but lower yielding. It's crummy if used for croissants or such fine pastries, but delicious in whole grain bread.

@MissKathleen Spelt is acceptable in old Englush, as is also spelled, but in modern usage spelt is declining, except for in statements such as "That is how the word is spelt".
A lot boils down to from which category of society the person hails.
I am reasonably cultured, with lapses!
