A lot of people think that going against the vote is the pragmatic thing to do. The price would be the damage done to democracy. I dread to think how the damage would be manifested over the next few years. I trust many remainers are conscious of this and will get behind the democratic will but I don't know if there are enough of them.

I share your concern for democracy.
