There are some way out theories that leave us with the idea that the universe repeats itself exactly the same way over and over again.
I often envision the universe to be a very microscopic spec of some entity much larger then us. Perhaps we are part of a skin cell of some sort, that has cells constantly dying and reforming, such as our own cells do. Big bangs, represent forming new, and black holes represent dying. Perhaps multiverses are actually different layers of skin. If so, hope those nasty white blood cells out there somewhere don’t consider us a virus. We’ll certainly need Captain Kirk and Spock to get us out of that one.
I have remarked, on social media, that the universe is inside a bottle of beer in a grander universe. Look out when that bottle is opened.
Kirk and Spock saved two universes at once in at least one episode. Spock gave Kirk that facts and Kirk figured out what to do with them.
The cosmos might re-generate a duplicate of itself, but the life-forms, even if they re-appeared, would not be the same.
Is this why I keep going into a room and not remembering why?
As I get older, I find myself thinking more about the hereafter. Every room I walk in, I think 'What did I come in here after ?'
