Tragic consequences,...there are no winners here. He will be a great loss to the game, but his homophobic remarks cannot be allowed to go uncensored. There will undoubtedly be people who support him and say he has the right to make these utterances under the pretext of religious freedom, but it is homophobia and hate, there is no doubt about it. He is subject to the law, like everyone else, and it would appear that he has broken his contractual obligations with his club, and the country. Sacking could be the only outcome, under the circumstances.
