There are quite a few people walking around "my " neighborhood in rags. Ignore me when I say hello. Surely, if you didn't want contact with others, why move into a populated area? Why build a mosque and then walk around as if you are holier than thou. I must admit I am not well versed in Islam. The Jehovah Witnesses, the Mormons and the Christains ,all go around selling their mistaken ideas. I'm not sure what the Moslems are doing.
This post bothered me quite a bit. Its Ramadam at the mo and depending on their denomination (Shufi, Shite or Sunni) will depend on when Eid falls but its around Wednesday next week. As a child, I loved Eid. All the mosques were open after their prayers and there was SO much food. The ladies gave us little girls glass bracelets and head scarves. As a little ginger entirely secular child, it felt so exotic. The outfits were fabulous and one year my school pal Shanaz's Mum gave me an ankle bracelet with bells on it...bells. I was in heaven. Instead of blasting prejudice, go and meet your neighbours...they WILL treat you to a good feed.

"In rags"?????? Wow, no overt prejudice exhibited here......
Sounds like if you are interested you could go to the mosque and ask. Maybe make a bridge between them and the community. It doesn’t hurt to be the first!
If you are not interested why make a fuss. You could just get on with your own life without giving it further attention!
