i tried it for a few months many decades ago.
didn't work well for me & i became a financial advisor. which also didn't work well b/c i didn't take the advice i gave my clients & became a speculator/trader.
fortunately, i had an armed forces pension to pay bills with & my wife had a well paying job.
if you are an outgoing person, really enjoy being with & talking to ppl insurance could work for you.
it would take a considerable amount of perseverance to get established but those that succeed do well financially.
