I agree to a certain extent but I suspect Khan is playing a political card here and appealing to the mass psyche.

For international relations to work protocol must be adhered to. We must remember that it is the Office of President Of USA that is being greeted here not Donald Trump.

The queen has been meeting with POTUS not Trump as unfortunate that might be. The people are doing a good job of pointing out the difference!

With regard to the article he clearly has no understanding of international relations and foreign affairs. Looks like he thinks you run countries like businesses! (And from what I understand he doesn’t do that very well either)

Khan, the mayor of London is correct. Besides Trump has insulted the various British leadership over the last 2 years, that should be enough by itself.
