I'm not much the social media user, but do intend to post here more as I try to overcome social anxiety. Ironically with that statement, I've unfortunately discovered Tinder last week, and it's not going so well lol. Anybody else have or ever had the Tinder blues?

Don’t know anything about Tinder but brilliant work in your quest to overcome social anxiety. Not an easy one. Just be gentle with yourself and move at your own pace. You’ll get there 👍

Tinder? You have laid in a supply of high-quality condoms, I hope!

Lol I have not, but I doubt they're even gonna be necessary anytime soon

Well, I've recently joined a gym, 9Round kickboxing. I don't look or smell my best there though lol. Also, this is actually my first time being single in over 6 years. It's way different now being almost 30 than it was in my early 20s. In some ways it's better being older and wiser, but in some ways harder.

This question is often asked by shy, young guys. They have trouble connecting with women due to their shyness and social awkwardness.

Shy guys turn to online dating because they are uncomfortable approaching women in real life. The trouble is when you meet women, your shyness and social awkwardness prevents you from connecting once again.

The solution is to improve your confidence, communication and social skills:

  1. See a counselor to help build your self esteem.

  2. Join a gym and develop a healthy lifestyle that includes aerobic exercise and weightlifting. Weightlifting improves your appearance. It builds self-confidence and improves your posture.

  3. Join exercise, yoga and other classes where women congregate. Have fun! Regular exercise improves your mental, physical and emotional resilience.

  4. Join Toastmasters to improve your public speaking skills.

  5. Take communications classes at a local community college.

  6. Join clubs and classes: hiking, photography and dancing where women congregate.

  7. Introduce yourself to three new people every day, smile and shake their hand.

This is your LIFE, not a rehearsal.

if all else fails. find the right drug..
