Say did you know there are two types of gardenia blossoms? I didnt ! But I have both in my garden. I am pleasantly surprised.

There is a gardenia bush at one end of my pool, and the fragrance of the blossoms is my reward at the end of every lap and back. I stop and take in a deep breath of the gardenias! One of my favorite scents. I also love white ginger and plumeria. Very calming fragrances.

That is a happy surprise. I only know gardenias from florist windows and romantic novels.

They are beautiful and have an amazing delicate fragrance!
@Bigwavedave And they do not grow here by Lake Ontario. The winters are just too brutal.
