I just had a great day at court. I could see that the judge was not happy with my ex case. She hadn't made her case at all. So she asked for an adjournment for a second time. So there is more than a glimmer of hope for me getting this settled outside of court and keeping my kids in Canada.
Yay
I do wish there was a law category.

Had anyone told me ..all those decades ago I’d lose my family homestead in a divorce settlement.. to that sweet loving young woman… it’d have felt as if I were speaking to a freshly landed alien..

it is most definitely a sad state of affairs, isn't it. kinda wish people could ask for reassessments of some old cases I know of.
Could it be she's asking for a dismissal? Adjourment sounds (to me), like that's it for the day and come back tomorrow.

It's almost like that. But she is the one who filled for it. And she hasn't solved anything thing yet. Only spending money.
How many times can she ask for an adjournment?

I don't know if there is a hard limit, but if your the one who filled for the court time it looks really bad it shows your not prepared. Witch she wasn't.
