The manufacturing index just hit its lowest point for Trumps term. Expect it to keep dropping, and soon his poll numbers will too.

Folks are going to begin feeling the effects of his policies and lack of negotiation skills. Unfortunatly, even more people are going to suffer.

I told the pollsters I thought he would win...I think that tactic worked when people told them that Hillary would win...it gives people over inflated confidence...that is why I don't trust polls anymore...I have learned to identify what they want to hear and I tell them...

I really really hope you are right!

@St-Sinner I had the unfortunate experience of having lunch at a cafe that had Fox news on...the RNC chair was on and they showed that even against the "worst" of the Democrat candidates, tRump still ran about 44%-47% chance of winning...this surprised me...there were talking about tRump's recent brag that he felt quite confident that he would win a second term...apparently, those around him are more concerned than he is...but again...polls...don't trust them...they are a gauge that is slightly more accurate than pure guessing...

@thinktwice Trump won not because of polls, not because of his smarts, not because of money and not because he had a better campaign.... but a candidate like Trump rose and was elected by the people simply because we democrats had a lousy, uninspiring and negligent candidate. Her name was Hillary Clinton.

The more Hillary appeared on TV, the more people decided to vote for Trump for a big big change.

@St-Sinner And, because there was a third party candidate and because many decided not to vote at all because Bernie was not on the ticket...many failures

@thinktwice That is going to happen again in 2020. democrats know how to squabble and shoot themselves in the foot.

@St-Sinner You are such a debbie downer...once the debates are over and the candidates are chosen, I think you will see a coming together for one purpose...to regroup and start fresh...to clean up the mess and move forward back to this century...

@thinktwice I am pragmatic. That has served me well. I don't like to be hopelessly hopeful. Squabbling is a real possibility among democrats. Kennedy-Carter, Jackson-Clinton, Hillary-Bernie... we have a good history.

@St-Sinner Yes, and despite the squabbling, the Democrat party has survived and won throughout the years...

@thinktwice At Number 2 everywhere is a consolation prize at best after being strong on issues, on values, performance, compassion, civil rights, human rights, unnecessary wars, and on the right side of the history. If we cannot beat the conservatives on family values, gun control, women's rights and abortion, we are not not doing well. I expect us to do better.

@St-Sinner perhaps this past election was the wake up call for all Americans to do better...we got a bit complacent and assumed our fortune and rights as Americans...
