I can’t see that someone’s faith matters when they speak wisdom? Who can argue against this quote?

It's morality is determined by what it does for ALL it's people.

@1of5 He was comfortable with indoctrinating children. Against Nazis. In Germany. At the height of the regime. He was also comfortable with participating in an attempt on Hitler's life. He was comfortable with being taken away to be executed in prison.

I'm not saying that his belief in a deity was correct, only that it led him to a different set of conclusions than most Christians have. I'm saying that this set of conclusions led him someplace useful and courageous. Because of those conclusions, he was that rare thing--a Christian with actual moral fiber.

Again, why not read the article instead of being a smug ignoramus?

Incidentally, Einstein, it's "comfortable", not "comfertable", and it's "its morality", not "it's". "It's" is a contraction for "it is".

Apparently it's possible to be a fact-free, condescending know-it-all, or to spell and use punctuation in the proper way, but not both.

And I get the feeling you could reduce your original post to its last five words and tell us all we need to know about you.

Lots of xtians have moral fiber. They just happen to be people, not some rare breed of anything.

Why don't you take a look at how the church acted in that era before blowing off indoctrinating kids? Think that might ruin your fantasy?
