I find it kind of odd that the home page of Agnostic.com has atheists listed first. I wonder why?

Looks loke alphabetical order ....if Atheists were preferred over all others the evil xian tradition of not capitalizing our Proper Noun name would be abandoned....we are not adjectives nor are Agnostics nor Skeptics

The evil xian Webster published dictionaries insulting Atheists and Atheism with false definition of us as if we "deny" a proven alleged gawd/s when their non word title is pure gibberish neither a monotheistic name or their bible alleged gawd name YHWH Jehovah Jesua Nasoret that never existed on the fake backdated calendar...real King Herod died 4 bce making their conflicting gospels story fiction as Herod never murdered all 2 year old boys to babies to ensure the death of their alleged baby gawd king of the jews

I don't see that it really matters. It may just be a customary colloquialism. Such as Cats almost always come first when talking about "cats and dogs" Not always, but usually.

I think you might be ovethinking this issue a bit. I doubt there was a purposeful philosophical reason behind the order.

Because of the syntax...perhaps. I believe it sounds better when spoken or read....but only marginally.

Agreed. To speak agnostic first is slightly more cumbersome and there is a slight hint of alliteration with ag- and skep.

Seems to me that's the way that a lot of people list them. I would see no problem with any order.
