Doggo update: for anyone curious about the sweet hounddog I found, I found her owners, they came and picked her up Sunday afternoon, and brought me one of her beautiful 5 month old puppies. They suspect she was indeed an abandoned hunting dog but they took her in early this year and their male pitbull wound up getting her pregnant. Only 2/8 of the litter survived and I got the male, the butterball of the litter and the cutest one out of any of their dogs by far. I’m in love with the little fella. He’s been one mess after another but I’ve already taught him to sit, walk on a leash, ride in the car, and climb stairs. We’re both exhausted.
