In anticipation of turning 60 years old, I cut my hair off.
I don't recognize myself!

I cut mine off when I was 48. I didn't recognize myself either. But I got used to the new me. Then, when I hit 60, I was sitting in a barbers chair, and saw a guy with a bald spot, on the top of his head, in the barber's mirror. I looked from side to side, saw no other customers in the shop, and realized I was the guy with the bald spot (and I never even felt a draft!). Now I'm 63, and quite comfortable with myself. (I still don't feel a draft!).

And at 55 I quit cutting my hair. It’s thick and long.
