I have seen no coverage of the 04 July Military Mania show by Herr Trump. I am in Australia. Thankfully it doesn’t seem to have had much importance here.

Was it a farce or have did it have some credibility. Can’t be bothered to read the tabloid rhetoric! Rather here from people within the dream.

I heard nothing about it which isn't surprising since I was busy giving birth to my little baby girl on July 4th.... Goo goo gaga...

Congratulations, I trust all went well?

@Geoffrey51 everything went very well...

"Great" history lesson - our revolutionary army took the airports. Can't make that shit up.

It would have been as painful to you as my watching a third grader read his history report verbatim with no emotion and no comprehension....he looked like he couldn't wait to get to the big planes overhead and rushed much of the speech to get to that part...it seems they timed the report to be long enough for his short attention span, followed by whoosh...planes above...next section, whoosh, planes above...

The crowd had to add any sense of enthusiasm by some chanting "USA" but it was hardly inspired by the speech...

It was also disheartening to hear a religious hymn and his talk about how we are all under one god and then panning the audience behind showing people of different religions, in particular, the Sikhs

Uhhh how sickening! What does a president normally do on 4th July?

@Geoffrey51 drink a beer and eat a hot dog...watch the fireworks...Obama invited troops for a barbecue...most Presidents do more low key things, not a military parade...4th of July is also popular for Presidents to attend naturalization ceremonies...

you really should for the entertainment value alone. at least the twitter responses anyway. he may actually think air power buoyed our continental army against the crown. of course the entertainment value is weighted down and drowned by the pain and sorrow... it's a dark humor.

Be thankful and enjoy the memes as they roll in.
It was a surreal clusterfuck, from all reports. The Revolutionary Air Force is priceless.
