Not even a million, what's the problem?

Shocking figures....as each one of the 643,00 is a personal tragedy for that individual and their family, and so unnecessary in the richest county in the world.

I've had family members who have spent extended time in hospitals, sometimes for months at a time. All of these stays included all or some combination of ICU with a 24 hour personal nurse, extended care, palliative care, chemo and radiation therapy, life support and inpatient rehab.

The medical costs to me and my family?

Zero.

The idea that Canadian health care is inferior to what's available in the US, because of waitlists, is inaccurate. The doctors here are excellent. Private health care is also an option, but not necessary in most cases with the exception of at home medical care.

The lies being told, about Americans having to sacrifice their private insurance, or settle for inferior care, is a party ploy to dissuade people from voting for Bernie (or now, any of the other democratic candidates who have stolen Bernie's ideas and are running on them).
