I've been in LA when it's pushing 100, but it was dry, therefore bearable.

@Petter L.A. also has a water issue. Virtually all the water in LA. comes from somewhere else. The climate change3s have change rainfall patterns which means L.A. is in a drought mor ethan half of hte time, while the average temperatures are generally rising.

I reached the conclusion that the population of L.A. cannot be suported in terms of water supply, especially becuse the population there keeps rising.

So, L.A. is too hot, too crowded too expensive and they lack enough water to be sustainable in the near future. The only thing positive I cna say about L.A. i sthat they re increasing their light rail service, which makes public transit more efficient. However even that is not happenign fast enough to keep pace with population growth.

@snytiger6 I remember the folks in Lone Pine moaning that LA had sneakily purchased a horizontal strip of land in the mountains above, then grabbed all the streams and diverted them, leaving Lone Pine starv d of water. That was in 1982.

Too expensive.
