It's ridiculous. The flag is all over everything. What's the big deal between shoes and ball caps or bathing suits?
It really is not to be on anything like that. It's considered disrespectful

Personally, I'm not a fan of putting the American flag on feet where it's more likely to get dirty and scuffed up as opposed to a t-shirt or a hat, but that may be because I'm a bit old fashioned about the banner.
@AlPastor That is by far the best, and probably only, reason not to make the shoes... Well done.. 
@Captain_Feelgood It's funny that the flag fetishists suddenly want the flag on their dirty feet because Kaepernick didn't like the idea.
Kaepernick could tell Cottenelle they shouldn't make Old Glory toilet paper and the Kap haters would boycott Cottenelle for not making the toilet paper and start wiping their asses with a competitor's American flag toilet paper in no time.
