I only want to get married once. Have you ever presented that invitation to someone whom you were had in in mind or as a passing thought in a conversation.

The future is not foreseeable, sweetie......

You may want to get married only once (who doesn’t?), but that may or may not be in the cards for you. You cannot predict what the future might bring. Be picky, do your best, but know there’s simply no guarantee.

So I said the same thing as I passed through the various age brackets of life. In my 20s and 30s I went to many weddings where the bride or groom actually said, "Well, if it doesn't work out we can always get a divorce!" I could not believe people would marry with that thought in mind.

I always said I would wait for the right one. I married at age 41 and knew I wanted her for a remaining lifetime of adventures. Unfortunately... She went out and had adventures of her own and I caught her. We divorced 3 years ago after 20 years of being together and 13 years of marriage.

So I wait again to find another life partner who I can share everything with. Maybe marriage is in the future... Maybe not.

No. I have the opposite thought. I never want to get married again 🙂

A beautiful, drop dead gorgeous girl like you is breaking my 65 year old heart. You only fail when you quit. I never married but never gave up and never hurt anyone along the way. Being Honest with people is the key to success or at least will bring you more then flowers and gifts.

I don't understand your question.

Have I ever asked someone to marry me whom I don't know well? Absolutely not.

Isn't that implied?
