35 years ago, on November 11th, my son was perched way up in the roof of Durham Cathedral with his trumpet, during the memorial/armistice day service. He was 15 years old and had been selected to play the solo rendition of 'The Last Post".
Quite an honour for a die-hard atheist!!!
