Silver maples or sugar (red) maples? I’ve had both and I love the red maples. The silver are a lot faster growing but break limbs a lot,during storms. I like the red oaks even better. Here’s a red maple I planted in my yard about 40 years ago.
@Trajan61 wow she's a beauty. I planted sliver silver maples.
@Incognitohippy Those are considerably faster growing but not near as colorful as the Red Maple.
