Not at all surprised. All they know is fox and talk radio. Snake oil salesmen have been around for ever and when you hook them up with the religious nuts and good ad men you get angry, frighten sheeple. NOW we have social media to spread the crazy even faster. I am not a gun lover but damn I sometimes think I'll need one to protect myself.
I have personally had it happen, white people believe they have the right to verbally attack anyone they do not agree with particularly if they are right leaning.

@1of5 Yah… the reverse discrimination and male bashing has gotten pretty thick.. And though I voted for a female president last opportunity, a lot of guys didn’t. Same with the ethnic bashing … says the white guy ~

@Varn I have also been in totally black areas of Oakland and seen the hate from the residents of the area. The big difference blacks never owned white slaves, or controled government in a way whites have controled housing, education, loans, GI benefits, etc.
The way to real wealth is property ownership and savings, the system has worked against many POC and some poor whites and it is white males who have made the rules. A classic example is mitch mcconnell refusing to allow a decent bill to secure our elections to come to the floor for a vote. In America we really can not ignore the color is issue.

@Varn, @zesty I have seen both sides. Thing is blacks never owned us white folk as slaves. POC never had control of government, housing, loans, etc.
That is not to say they would be any better. Too many examples of the oppressed becoming the oppressor or the abused becoming the abuser.

@silverotter11, @1of5 When those who long ago tossed their ‘majority perks’ in order to fight for a greater good ..become sick & tired of being a punching bag for those apparently envious of such status … we’re all in trouble. But then - we’re all in trouble ~
