Sadly, the great deals in Canada will be short lived. The Canadian federal government negotiates with drug companies for a fixed quantity of the various drug offerings. Opening up the Canadian market to desperate American purchasers would severely limit the available supply for residents. Trump and Americans need to fix their problem and not take advantage of other country’s generous drug policies that Canadians pay for through taxation. The US lags behind the rest of the developed world in this area. More money is spent on both half assed solutions and fighting universal healthcare than it would cost to just do it. BTW, Canadians pay comparably less taxes than our US cousins. The war machine is expensive eh?

@Science-guy ok..The Americans Pay cash for their insulin and other much needed drugs for survival.
The other option for Us is Mexico where insulin is even cheaper than Canada..Unfortunately for Americans in the northern tier of states, travel there is prohibitive and hassle causing at customs.

@Charlene I am not unsympathetic at the plight of people unable to afford medications without severe financial hardship. I think it is disgusting that those who are elected enjoy free healthcare and then turn their backs on the reality of their constituents.
