To thier credit they blame hurricanes and tornadoes on god being pissed at whomever they happen not to like instead of Satan.

Satan is the excuse for evil and harm in the world. From the Christian point of view, their all powerful god is helpless to stop it. Excuses to justify a non exisistant god.
