Ok so when I was a kid living in Honduras. I had this concept of Americans being super bad ass. I came to the states 30 years ago. Now I’ve been in the south for 27 and realistically I have been robbed of my childhood illusion by a lot of the characters that I’ve met. The pride, the boastfulness, the ego, etc... that they show seems to be the result of being lucky enough to be born here but not by what they have accomplished or the shit that comes out of their mouth. Yet I have hope that our kids will be more open minded and progressive that our generation and that they would be able to enjoy this great country even better than us. It’s up to us to guide em there.

I lived in Georgia for a year doing contract archaeology in my long lost youth. The South, with as many churches as titty bars. The only place guys tried to pick me up at Goodwill. Uggh.

Now that’s some bad ass stuff there. Meet me at goodwill should become a dating site haha.

@Cwag515, Sounds about on level with People of Walmart.. uggh.

@TaraMarshall so we should call it “meet shopping people”
