This is a picture of my Mom and myself, shortly before she passed at the age of 101 years of age!
She was a very religious person....BUT, she was not weak, in the slightest. She was the strongest person, I've ever known.
I used to tell her nursing home comrades this joke....and she'd laugh harder than anybody, EVERY time!

"So, one time my Mom was heading down south on I-35 to visit some friends.
I turned on the news and they were warning people on I-35 that there was a driver....DRIVIING the WRONG way!
So, I call her up and say, "MOM....Mom, BE CAREFUL...there's a driver driving the WRONG way on I-35!"
She said, "NOT just ONE!! They're ALL driving the WRONG WAY!! ALL OF THEM!"

Beautiful. Mom's are special.

I know there was no surprise that she was close to the end of her life, at that age, but the loss is like no other.

She must have been tough! Staying alive that long is the sign of a true warrior.

Humor when someone is old really makes everyone happy.

As my Jewish friends say, may her memory be a blessing.
