If you treat people like shit than you deserve to be treated the same way. It's make no sense to tell people to respect you when you know you're disrespecting someone else.

I totally agree. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated. Most of the time, when people are disrespectful, it has nothing to do with you, however, it certainly doesn't make their behavior right.
