I hope it is not as bad a Matthew for Melbourne. From all indications it shouldn't be. Some friends of mine had a beautiful beach house south of Melbourne. I went there after the storm. It survived but the shutters got damaged. They were sweating bullets during the hurricane and sold it soon after. Stay safe!

My friends hare staying put in West Melbourne. They do have steel shutters on their windows.

Level 7

We are 12 Hours away on the North Carolina Coast and already the runs on Gas, Water and Food are taking their toll .

Everything is closed here, even the convenience stores. It's creepy.
