I agree in principle, but they do have a basic understanding of how their Red state voters feel. I would like to see how these individual state's Republican population feels. And the CEO's feed them da'money.

@ChurchLess But therein lies the conflict. Their perceived "base" won't stand for "loosing their rights" regardless of the will of the rest of the people, and CEO's are regarded by those same people as elites. The Base votes them into office where they are then free to exploit those constituents until the next election.
