I try to explain to others that there is no political correctness, there is only change. Change can be good or bad but it is always there. Everything in your life changes, your job, relationships, family, home, even perception. Most people fear change, those that don't fear it as much do the best. Telling people that we no longer call a football team "The Redskins" is not political correctness, it is a society recognizing and respecting others within the society, no harm comes to those that wants to call the team "Redskins" but it is change and they rebel.

Lol.. So relevant for me. My town was Redskins until 2 years ago. The Redskins Forever crowd are real loud and very very angry. I think they would disagree

@MsAl why would the disagree is my question to them, how does it harm you? How is it even an issue?

@clarkatticus They take extreme offence. It seems to be the anti PC type people mostly. Messed up all their hometown pride.

@clarkatticus I'm not one of them.. I have a visceral response these days to any statements refering to any type of small town pride or small town morals exc.. I don't even go to the old junk flea markets anymore. Doesn't have the same "charm" since 2016 or so

@MsAl Well, 2016 has proven forever that morality does not reside in the small towns and countryside. I see these commercials pandering to the idea that cities are bad and small town America and farmlands are bastions of morality and free spirit. I cannot wait to return to the urban environment and civilization.
