I have a sister that fell off a horse 20 years ago and suffered a traumatic brain injury. She almost died and hasn't ever been the same since. After two months in the hospital she came home and slowly started remembering things. She totally lost her sense of smell and taste... 2 of her 5 senses. She is not the same person though she thinks she is. She can't hold a job and blows through money like it's water. I am the co-trustee of her inheritance. Every now and then I need to remind myself that she cannot help who she is. She isn't choosing her actions... They choose her and she is susceptible to any lame story that comes along.

This is similar to Trump. He is mentally defective and cannot control what he does and says. I cannot fault him as he is mentally ill.
