Everything starts with waking up.. it's important we recognize that we have been manipulated and enabled by the richman from his ivory tower.
Capitalism is not humane it's the reason religion and wars are still in control.
It's the reason consumerism is more a disease than a habit and mental illness and loneliness are continuously on the rise.

It’s a tool, just as communism is being used to enrich a handful in both russia and china.. to the detriment of their societies. Adjustable Socialism is the answer to human stability, though in constant battle with the extremes of both Capitalism & Communism 😟

The top 10 most capitalistic countries are:

Hong Kong
Singapore
New Zealand
Switzerland
Australia
Ireland
Estonia
United Kingdom
Canada
United Arab Emirates
The United States ranks 18th. Its weak spots are in business freedom and property rights. Its immense national debt also limits fiscal policy. It's created a future tax burden that will restrict taxpayer freedom.

If not capitalism, then what system do y’all propose?

@Neenz That statement is not so. Capitalism is supported by consumerism and buoyed by those who can’t afford to buy into it but still do by accessing credit.

Anyone can opt out of consumerist behaviour.

Capitalist system is humane, the Corporation-ism is not.

Who's math?

Can anyone here, tell me the difference between capitalism and Corporation-ism?

Still I ask? Between capitalism or Corporation-ism who is more to blame?

Without knowing this, your on a witch-hunt forever.

Can't blame you all if you all don't know, most people do not know.

@Castlepaloma Can’t say that blame is the right word as corporationism is an outcropping of globalisation.

Corporationism I would say is more destructive by drawing resources from local economies which is where I suggest the inequality lies. Capitalism, in its constructive sense creates a local economy as is evidenced by the Industrial Revolution. The social issues around it are another matter beyond the scope of this post.

The Regan's trickle down policy is a good example of greatest boom in poverty and homelessness ever seen since the dirty 30's great depression, plus climate crisis downturn to today.

America since Lincoln assassination was put on Marshall law war emergency and US corp took over. The US is a corporation since and a President can only be of a corporation, not a country. It harms a great deal of capitalist smaller competitior companies.

"System is humane" does not make sense. Systems don't feel; thus, have no sense of actions required to be humane.

@Castlepaloma
Capitalism can be fascist capitalism or social democracy capitalism, and there is the difference.
I think corporatism or corporation-ism is basically fascist (totalitarian) capitalism. It is what the current US administration it trying to promote.

Most people bundle capitalism individual rights with corporatism political collective systems. Like there is no differences, when there is a huge differences. US Government is a corporation. US military is the world's largest corporation. Walmart carry similar war tactics as military to crush smaller companies around them. From JFK, President continue to get worst up to today. Corporation-ism has increased US prisons cells by 14 times since KFK and with bidding wars over emprison slaves. Corporation-ism vastly increased poverty and natures destruction as that goes in hand with less freedom or happiness .

That is not all
Almost 87% of families are in debt with the average in December 2018 being $135,768.  Then add on the national debt of 22.8 trillions making life for vast majority unsubstainable. Capitalism pays the bills and free trade vs Corporationism is more theft and destruction negative for the majority than it is good.
