This has been in the works for decades, nice to see major progress being made. There have to be other carbonized libraries in the vicinity still undiscovered too, a library was quite the status symbol for elite Romans. And 79 AD, might be contemporary documentation shedding new light on a certain controversial ministry a few decades earlier. Exciting stuff.
Yes, one definitely has to wonder where the Pompeii library is . . . . and given that the Alexandria Egypt library was completely destroyed several hundred years later, this library could contain some of the very same texts.
