History has a habit of repeating. So ot seems the Chinese wish to lease a whole island, expanding influence in the pacific. People are not happy with China.
But do you have the ability to empathise with China? I do and China looks at HK, leased by the Brits for 99 years. They look at Guam, an American military instalation. All the European colonies in Asia and elsewhere.
If I was China, I would ignore "comcerns" from the West as well as total hypocracy.
Saying this, nations with imperial ambitions are not good but Im actually more worried about the US expanding, not China atm.
