When Lady Dorothy Ann Plampin was born in 1555 in Nayland, Suffolk, England, her father, John, was 30, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 30. She married Thomas Stayerne/Sterne in 1566. They had 14 children in 33 years. She died on February 17, 1616, at the age of 61.

Do you know who painted this portrait or where it is currently located? She is an ancestor of mine, as well, and I am trying to add a source to this portrait.
