Ok I would like to reclaim some words here from the vested interests that commandeered them for their own ends. My first is God, it does exist, it means the energy that connects everything. 'energy follows thought' - Einstein. The collective subconscious that influences all our thoughts and feelings, we are all involved in a very complex cause and effect process, everything that happens from one second to the next is the result of an infinite chain of events in which we have all been a part for infinity. My second will follow soon.

Reclaim god? Whatever the fuck for?

BTW, your definition of god is just as much made up bullshit as every single other definition of god.

1 of 5 my arse 1 of 7billion, if you wanna talk BS definitions a speck.

@RichardTaylor that makes no sense what-so-ever. Figures.

Just what we need, another amature philosopher that doesn't know jack shit that thinks they've figured it all out.

Whilst I agree with what you say...today the meaning has changed to mean an omnipresent being and a creator of all things. In all of the main religions, God is considered to be the moral authority over our lives through the writings in holy scriptures of Judaism, Christianity or Islam. For that reason I believe it is now impossible to talk about god in any other terms.

Ok but I disagree we need to reclaim these words back to their original meanings facilitating our understanding of the true meanings of these highly edited and mistranslated tomes.

@RichardTaylor I wish you luck in your enterprise! I should think it will be like trying to hold back the tide.

@Marionville I'm already doing it I just thought I'd start putting my findings out there, the old testament when translated and interpreted correctly is a text book on how the universe works it's cycles and the cause and effects of natural geophysical phenomena. We have repeated some of its findings and experiments. Not looking for validation or converts just putting it out there.

Yes it just goes to show how times have changed. Einstein wrote in a more innocent age, when it was possible to redefine words as you liked, to create poetic metaphors, without the risk that you would be taken literally and seriously by charlatans, or at least that the charlatans would not be hugely influential and use your words to justify all forms of folly to their victims.
