I don't think he is too far left, but most of the country does. The only thing that matters in this next election is getting rid of trump and hopefully McConnell. At this point everything else is secondary.

We need to get rid of more than Mcconnell if we are going to take over the Senate and without the Senate we're still screwed.

@Lorajay It depends who they put in as leader if they hold the Senate.

@Sticks48 i disagree, Republicans have a history of voting in lockstep and they want to hold on to their money.

@MichaelSpinler If all of the media is as corrupt as you seem to think we would already be gone as a country. It isn't your little online news outlets who have uncovered all of this shit we know about. It5 has primat There are independent watchdogs show how much each major television news network lies or gets it wrong. Comparing FOX to the other networks is so ridiculous as to be laughable. Folks like you are the reason so many people run from the far left. You sound as ridiculous as your counterparts on the far right. If you want to watch what the majority of people in this country believe is totally unbiased reporting, watch PBS. Just because people don't have the same political views as yourself does not make them wrong. If you want to live in a democracy there has to be give and take. That is the only way it works.

@Lorajay They have always been that way, but we have had leadership in both parties who could work together to get some things done.

@MichaelSpinler There are two parties and they are very, very different. If you don't know that, you really haven't been paying attention. Congress is just a reflection of the people. We are a greedy, materialistic society. Reagan really pushed us in that direction. How many other societies shop for recreation. Probably not more than a couple and they do that because of our influence. I am afraid that is going to be difficult to turn around.

@MichaelSpinler I don't fear change, but if you think you are going to change an entire society overnight, you are delusional. Even Bernie knows he wouldn't be able to hardly anything through Congress he wants. He said so on Rogen's show. He wouldn't even get the support of a lot of the Democrats in the congress. I would like to see a national healthcare system. I would like to see state universities more affordable, if not free. I would like to see all drugs decriminalised. I would like to see all guns except hunting rifles and shotguns be illegal, with a minimum of five years in prison with no parole, if you are caught with one. I would like to see term limits for Congress and all federal judges including SCOTUS. I would like to see more done to get off of fossil fuels. I may have left out something, but it's three o'clock in the morning and I just got in from a gig a little while ago.
