I don't know the ways of the Universe.but if a monotheistic God exist, he/she evidently has no interest in us as individuals. What do others think?

Well, i mean, if you were all powerful would you care about anything? Absolute power corrupts absolutely: the concept of God is not immune to the laws of consciousness.

try typing the 'evidential problem of evil' into the stanford encyclopedia of philosophy, an interesting read which goes into depth about precisely what you're talking about. the internet encyclopedia of philosophy may be a slightly easier and simpler read (less academic) but the same concepts.

I believe your right. Humans had to create a God to talk to. After awhile it was a natural thing to pray to it and beg of it. We wouldn't know what to do if we had a real god in front of us.
