Religious, you like to have your nonsense dictated to you by an authority. Spiritual, you like to make up your own as you go along.
Though some people on this site like to use spiritual to mean, a feeling of awe in the face of nature. Fair enough. I like it to mean there is a lot of alchohol in the liquid.
