As the societal climate re-engages a heavy religious spirit in the holidays, how do you handle day to day questions/confrontations of Jesus being the core concept?

Not fair to take his birthday away. Everyone else has one!

If he wasn’t born at all he can have a birthday whenever he wants!🤪

Metaphorically.

I figure it’s far too late to educate them on the true ‘reason for the season,’ or the history of those in the northern hemisphere celebrating ‘the return of the sun’... Often feels like after another Republican gets elected locally.. They know not what they do 😕

I don't see people getting into any heavier "religious" spirit this time of year at all. What I do see is a lot of pissed off stressed out people because they have to find the time and the money to prepare for a holiday that is way more about consumerism than spirituality. It may be different where you live.
