The Master Race. Did it survive the fall of the third Reich?
Did the 40 children born initiate the growth of the master race?

After many generations a group might be developed having specific desired genetic characteristics, however, those characteristics would probably be of no value or of negative value in the future environment. Also, no doubt there would be other characteristics that could be even more valuable that, through ignorance, would be neglected. And there would be undesirable characteristics not readily apparent that would be propagated.

The result would be that your master race wouldn’t be worth crap.

Hitler got his ideas about eugenics from the US, from universities in New York and Wisconsin. Americans even sent advisors to Germany to advise the Nazi government in setting up their programs for the elimination of unwanted people.

@StoryMaker I’m not understanding you. Do you actually think there is a master race somewhere in the background? Eugenics was a big bust. I don’t think nature works that way.

A little known fact is the Iranians are not Arabs they are Aryans. When one says this often people bristle as this was supposed the master race of the Nazis. "Adolf Hitler co-opted and subverted the idea, arguing that the people who invaded India were Nordic and supposedly the ancestors of the Nazis."

Hence, adoption of the Indian swastika symbol?

@BitFlipper It's funny but the symbol is also (still) used in Japan. We were once a part of a homestay program for Japanese students. One student showed us, on an internet map, where she lived. The whole area was full of swastikas. It seems this is used for grave site4s. Her father was employed in a center which offered help for grieving family members.

My son had a teacher in high school whom he and a few others believed was part of the lebensborn program.

Thank you, another lesson for me. I know of the "Lebensraum" idea but have not heard of "Lebensborn" (seems like it should be called Lebensgeburt. Maybe one of our more knowledgeable Germans will correct me). From Wikipedia: "Lebensborn e.V. (literally: "Fount of Life" ) was an SS-initiated, state-supported, registered association in Nazi Germany with the goal of raising the birth rate of Aryan children of persons classified as 'racially pure' and 'healthy' based on Nazi racial hygiene and health ideology." Note the word "Aryan."
